Welcome to Day Three of the Empowered Birth Series!

Day Three Challenge. Reflect on the following question:

1. How is my connection with my pelvic floor muscles? (i.e. after today’s connection breath video, did you feel in tune with how your pelvic floor muscles responded to your breath?  If not, this is what you need to practice before birth). 

ACTION STEP: Be sure to stick around for the second half of today’s video to learn how to begin preparing the pelvic floor muscles for birth. Grab a yoga mat (or chair) and a fluffy hand towel.

STAY TUNED: In tomorrow’s lesson, Dr. Betsey dives deeper into how we can use mindfulness to manage pain levels during childbirth.
