Welcome to Day Four of the Empowered Birth Series!

Day Four Challenge. Reflect on the following questions:

1. What are my pregnancy pain mantras. Try to think of three! (Use these mantras to help calm down the nervous system when stress is heightening your physical discomfort).

2. What are my childbirth pain mantras? Try to think of three! Print these out, share with your birth partner, and pack in your hospital bag (or have on hand if you are planning a home birth)!

ACTION STEPS:

  1. Start incorporating your pregnancy mantras into your day to day life.
  2. Continue practicing diaphragmatic breathing with pelvic floor relaxation (see lesson 3 for a refresher if needed).
