I'm Betsey Doctor of Physical Therapy, Educator, Advocate of all things pelvic-health related, Mama, and Coach bringing you the tough love and awkward jokes.

“Why didn’t anyone tell me about my pelvic floor sooner?”

This is one of the most common grievances I hear in my treatment room. Too many women have been suffering in silence all the while thinking that their symptoms of pelvic pain, urinary incontinence, bladder urgency, constipation, diastasis rectus aka “mommy tummy” and painful intercourse are something they just have to “deal” with.

I founded Yes Mama Co. in response to these issues. My goal is to empower all mamas to say YES to their pelvic health and help support them on their journey towards healing. I firmly believe every mama should be proactive about her pelvic health, seeking a pelvic floor PT examination annually, as well as during every pregnancy and postpartum episode.

But where
did I start?

I obtained my doctorate degree in physical therapy in Los Angeles, CA and underwent extensive pelvic floor mentorship in Hollywood, CA. I now specialize in women’s health, pelvic health, sexual health, and female athlete performance. This includes pregnancy and postpartum care.
